Dear CrossPointe,
I’ve been saying that Romans 8 is the greatest chapter in the Bible—more than that—the greatest chapter ever written. If we were to think of the Bible as a mountain range, Romans 8 would be the Mount Everest that towers above all others. And if Romans 8 is the Mount Everest, verses 28–39 would be the summit. This Sunday we’ll begin to scale that summit.
The truth in these three verses is indescribably glorious and comforting. Paul is assuring us that whatever we face in this life, God will work it for our good because He set His love on us in eternity past, and he has promised to bring us all the way home. Take some time to read Romans 8:28–30 before Sunday. If there’s any portion of this great chapter to memorize, this is it.
See you Sunday!
Brad
