Dear CrossPointe,

This Sunday we’ll look at Mark 4:35-41 and the very familiar scene of Jesus calming the storm while on a boat with the disciples. This passage has much to teach us about the relationship between “storms” in our own lives and Jesus’ power over them and purpose in them for our good. I encourage you to take some time over Thanksgiving to read this text. And, as you read, consider the joy, confidence and thanksgiving we can have in Jesus, the one that even the wind and seas obey. See you Sunday!

Thankful to be one of your pastors,
