John 831–47

Dear CrossPointe,

I missed you last week but had a wonderful time visiting with Rob and Olivia Golding (former members of CrossPointe) while I was preaching at their church in the Los Angeles area. Rob recently became the pastor of First Artesia Church, and they are doing a great work for the Lord. I am so thankful for them and the fruit the Lord is bringing through their ministry.

This week we continue our journey through the theologically rich eighth chapter of John. Robert preached an excellent message on verses 12–30 focusing on Jesus’ famous self-identifying words, “I am the light of the world.” Listen to it here if you missed it.

This Sunday we will cover John 8:31–47 where Jesus continues to press the crowd. He tells them their only hope is to be set free by the truth, otherwise, they will remain enslaved by sin which will eventually kill them. Strong words. Clear words. Words we need to hear today!

See you Sunday!

Brad
