Dear Church,
We’ve been digging into Hebrews 2:10–18 for the last two weeks, and I think we’ve got just a little more juice to squeeze out of this beautiful text, specifically the last verse—“For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.”
So before moving on to Hebrews 3, we will consider what it means that Jesus is able to help us when we are tempted. How does he do that? What does it look like practically in our lives? I’ve quipped for years that sermons shouldn’t be merely about “how to have a better Tuesday.” Well, in a sense, I’m going to try and answer that from this text! How does Jesus help us on Tuesday (or whatever day!) when the world, the flesh, and the devil are clawing at us?
Let’s press in together. See you Sunday!
Brad
