Dear CrossPointe,
I hope each of you had a blessed Thanksgiving day with friends and family. We indeed have so much to be thankful for as a church. Before we launch into a busy December, consider taking a moment to think about how kind God has been to you and to us as a church. Set aside a few minutes to look through our member directory and write a note to that person who you see serving consistently in children’s ministry, or someone on the worship team who leads us so well in corporate singing, or a youth leader who loves on your teenager, or a community-group or Bible-study leader who has helped you grow in Christ. I know I am thankful for so so many of you for the ways you serve the body of CrossPointe.
Another thing I’m grateful for is international travel! Tomorrow night (Saturday), Jennifer and I will board a plane for China to visit our oldest son for about a week and a half. We miss him dearly and are looking forward to seeing him and touring the great city of Beijing. Robert Ward will preach this Sunday, and then Reuben Moyana will preach the following Sunday. We’ll also miss you but look forward to seeing you all in a few weeks!
I love you all! Grace and peace,
Brad
