Dear CrossPointe,
Praise God for his grace to us! If you’ve missed the last two weeks, I encourage you to go to our website and hear about our plans to plant a church out of CrossPointe sometime in 2018. If you’re interested in being a part of or hearing more about the church plant, there will be an informational lunch immediately following the service this Sunday. Please RSVP by e-mailing Leah Carr.
This Sunday I’ll be preaching from John 9 about the man who was born blind and received his sight from Jesus. It’s a striking story full of gospel truths for us. I encourage you to read it a few times before Sunday and ask the Lord to teach us wonderful things from His Word.
Church, these are exciting but trying times. The world and culture around us are coming apart at the seams daily, and yet, the gospel is advancing in ways we’ve never seen before. We need each other. Believers need the imperfect but nurturing community of the local church. Let’s not neglect to gather together, to look for ways to forget about ourselves and serve one another. It can be hard and awkward and inconvenient and frustrating, but it’s worth it to do life together as a church family!
I love you, CrossPointe! See you Sunday!
Brad
