In light of Orphan Sunday (Nov. 11), we’ve invited Herbie Newell to come preach. Herbie is the President of Lifeline Children’s Services and an advocate for orphan and foster care around the world, and we’re eager to hear him preach from Psalm 146 this Sunday. You won’t want to miss it!

Afterward, there will be a lunch for anyone interested in adoption, foster care, or caring for families involved in either. To ensure we have enough food and childcare, please contact Danielle Counts.

Ladies’ Lunch (Nov. 13, 11:30 a.m.) || Join the women of CrossPointe for fellowship over lunch ($5 Chicken Salad Chick) as we hear from one of our own. Childcare is available starting at 9:30 a.m.! RSVP to Allie Webb.
 
Worship Night (Nov. 16, 6:30–8:30 p.m.) || Let’s praise the Lord together with St. Andrews Presbyterian and Iglesia Familia en Cristo at CrossPointe. There will be refreshments at 6:30 p.m., followed by worship in the sanctuary at 7. Childcare through kindergarten will be available.
 
Member Meeting (Dec. 2, 6–7:30 p.m.) || Before the year ends, we need to approve the budget for 2019. We’ll also hold a Q&A for elder candidates John Faught and John Illges. Childcare will be available.
 
Youth Winter Retreat (Dec. 29–Jan. 1) || Ski ($290), snowboard ($300), or just hang out ($150) with us in Winterplace, W. Va. A $100 deposit is due by Thanksgiving with the total due Dec. 15.
