CrossPointe,
Sunday is a few days away, but I am eager to dive into our text this week: Philippians 1:3–11. Paul’s greeting to the local church in Philippi contains a lot of practical instruction for how God’s people should consider one another. Though it concludes with the content of Paul’s regular prayers for the church, it also establishes his motive for praying the way he does as well as the reason for his confidence in prayer. I am hopeful that the Lord might use this to spur us on as a local church eager to share in the blessings of the gospel together.
On that note, we’ll gather around the Lord’s Table on Sunday as well. Even now let’s prepare our hearts to hear from God's Word and receive the Lord’s Supper together.
In Christ,
Robert
